Ben R. Neuman
Chief Executive Officer
Globat.com's founder, Ben R. Neumann, also serves as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. In this capacity, he oversees all strategic and operational decisions and drives the financial and administrative strategy. Prior to Globat.com, Neumann was the Co-founder, Chairman and CEO of e-business solutions provider, iBoost Technology, Inc. He was also the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Internet Communications, www.icom.com, a leading low-cost Web hosting company. Interliant, Inc. (NASDAQ: INIT), formerly known as Sage Networks, Inc., acquired Icom in 1998 in a highly publicized transaction. Neumann is a marketing and business delegation expert, specializing in Internet, advanced media and technology.
Before moving to the United States in 1994 to play an important part in the growth of the Internet, Neumann operated and later sold a successful financial agency in Germany. While in Germany, he attended the Gerhard Mercator University and the Specialized Higher School of Business and Administration, where he earned a MBA and graduated with a 4.0 GPA.
Neumann is an entrepreneur with a proven track record in successfully creating and operating prosperous business entities and was nominated for Ernst & Young's "Entrepreneur of the Year" award in 2000.
Christopher L. Ueland
President
Christopher L. Ueland serves as President for Globat.com.
Ueland is a New York native and responsible for Globat.com’s
strategic positioning and business development. Before joining Globat.com,
Ueland co-founded iBoost Technology, Inc., a leading e-business
solution provider, where he also served as Chief Creative Officer
from 1999 until 2001. Prior to iBoost, he held the position of Chief
Development Officer at Monolith Innovations Group, Inc., a technology
pioneer that provided free domain name services to users on the
Internet. During his time there, Monolith was rated as the sixty-second
largest presence on the Internet. Ueland was involved in application
development and responsible for advertising sales. Additionally,
he served as a consultant to several different brand-name Internet
companies, including Interliant, Inc. and WebYes, Inc.
Louis J. Rio
Chief Operating Officer
Louis J. Rio serves as Chief Operating Officer for Globat.com.
In this capacity, he is responsible for the day-to-day operation
of our company. Rio is a seasoned corporate executive with over
30 years experience in Operations, Customer Service, Sales, and
Finance for the Xerox Corporation. He is skilled in 'operationalizing'
business process management, organizational development and in changing
management strategies. He focuses on achieving P&L objectives,
customer loyalty and overall business results. Prior to joining
Globat.com, Rio completed consulting assignments for Fortune 500
companies throughout Hong Kong, Rome, Paris, Madrid and Zurich.
Rio obtained his MBA from Pepperdine University in 1992 and is married
with two children and three granddaughters. |
